Gilmer, TX March 20th, 2010

It was good to return to Gilmer, Texas and see some familiar faces, as well as, meet some new ones. We played two 45 minutes sets with a little break in between. Thanks to everyone at Pine Acres Baptist Church for having us again. We really enjoyed it. It was also good to see Doyal and Mytis Stephens (founders of the bluegrass band, "Coldwater Creek" which Jasey was blessed to play with before moving to Olney) in the audience. Here is a video clip of the evening...

Howdy to all! We haven't made it home yet. Had a GREAT time at Pine Acres Baptist Church last night but just couldn't make it all the way home. Looks like we're about to be driving in snow though! More on our Gilmer, TX concert later...

City Folks Call Us Poor

I don't know where you may be, but around here the weather has been perfect for taking a walk with your camera and observing first hand some of God's amazing handiwork. This makes me think of some lyrics in the song City Folks, "He knows we can't afford no fancy paintings so we look at the real things instead". Yes, city folks may think we're poor, but I believe they're the ones who are missing out!

New Project!

I'm so excited! We started recording songs for my new fiddle CD! I think this is going to be a fun project. A big thank you to the Hanks for patiently showing me some of the ropes of recording, allowing me to sit behind the controls part time (I'm learning so much), and also for accompanying me on this new project.

Post, TX 2-18-10

We played in Mrs. Debbie's home town of Post last Sunday morning (February 28th) to top off our weekend trip. It is always great to go but it's also good to come back home. Praise God for safe travels. Here's a video clip of the morning...

Hillcrest Country Club 2-26-2010

Wow! We had an awesome weekend starting here, at the Hillcrest Country Club in Lubbock, Texas on 2-26-10. We had a great evening, being joined by our friends Triple L Band from Portales, NM (we're looking forward to playing with them in Portales this summer). Hillcrest was the first place we played since our CD's came in and believe me were we happy to have our finished project in our hands!!!

Seymour Concert 2-21-2010

We always have a lot of fun and plenty of laughter when we're together. As Mr. Danny said, "Couldn't ask for a funner group to play with". Have you been waiting to hear Danny with his tight socks on? Well, here it is (after we do the song "normal")...

Presbyterian Manor 2-16-2010

We had a reminder of God's amazing timing here...
As we walked into the Presbyterian Manor building, Mrs. Debbie was suddenly reminded of her granny (who had lived her last years in a facility such as this nurshing home), and that this day was Feb. the 16th. The exact day, one year earlier, that her granny had passed on. Some tears later, we were amazed that no one had before realized this up-coming date before. Yet, as Mrs. Debbie said, how fitting to be playing for these people in this place on this day in remberance of her granny! Here's a video of us playing the lighthouse at the Presbyterian Manor in Wichita Falls, Texas...

Video of Cowboy Church 1-3-2010

We had a great time here and what wonderful facilities. Here's a video clip from our show at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County on January 3, 2010...
We are a Traditional Bluegrass Gospel band based out of the Seymour Texas area. We feel we are blessed to be able to use our talents that God had given us to spread his love through our music.
