It's A New Year.

Hello Everyone,
What a year we have had! We were so busy last year, we were traveling to all parts of out state and others as well. We met some really great people who are like family to us and we were so blessed to have them in our family. In August, I had a huge eye opener. I found myself being short of breath, and went to a doctor to found out that I have an enlarged heart, and after a round of tests, they find that my left ventricular has an EF of 25-30%, which is the ejection fraction of that chamber. So my heart is only pumping out 25-30% of the blood on every beat and the left chamber pumps the oxygen rich blood out to your body. I also had a sleep study done to find (which we knew I had sleep apnea) that my sleep apnea was so bad. They measure apnea with an AI number and anything over 15 is considered extreme, my AI number was 72.5, yep that bad, plus my O2 saturation in my blood dropped down to 78% , so I'm not really sure how I'm still here, but by the grace of God alone. I have been on heart meds that is supposed to improve my heart function and also I sleep with a cpap machine with oxygen pipped in at night. Man, I forgot what it was like to really sleep. It has been a long time since I ever slept all night. At first, I really felt great, better than I have in years, but that slowly changed back to and I got to feeling bad again. I have no energy nor can I do much of anything for very long before I get really winded. After three months of therapy, there was no improvement at all. My EF is still at 30% and I have way too many PVC's which stands for premature ventricular contractions, at about 4-5 in a 10 second EKG test, so that is preventing me from having the cardiac MRI that they want to do to see what else might be causing the weak heart. So now, They are sending me to the UT Southwestern hospital in Dallas to see some heart failure specialist there. This is the # 1 ranked heart failure hospital in North Texas. I should be getting a call from them soon to set up an appointment. They say if you have HF, this is the place to be. I am so looking forward to getting there. I pray they find the cause and lets get this thing fixed so I can back to living. This is a big wake up call for me as well as my family! So please be in prayer for me as well as my family. Thank you for the prayers. Ok, my music is going good. We are recording another CD and hope it will be out this spring. We have some new places to play, Mobeetie and Grapecreek and the new Duncan festival as well as all the others we have played, like Vega,Tucumcari, Coffee Creek,Perrin, so we are getting busy plus all the different churches to come along the way. God is good. Danny is doing good. Debbie is still driving to City View to school each week. We look forward to seeing and visiting everyone along the way. Bring a friend and come see us this year! Hope you all have a blessed year! See ya then!

A Busy Start To A New Year!

Man what a start. We started with a New Years Day Show with the Herrins, Bluefield Express and Honi Deaton and Dream. That was an great show. Then that following Sunday, we went to the Gilmer,TX to do a benefit for their music leader, TC Curtis, who suddenly found out to have cancer and he was in Hospice within two months. We had a great turnout and that church, Pine Acres Baptist Church, is such a loving church. We have been out there several times. After the benefit, we went to see TC and his wife, Kate in Tyler where he was at. TC passed away the following week, but he is in good hands, TC was a great man, who witnessed for Jesus and shared his love of the Lord everyday he was awake. While we were there, Brother Ken, their pastor had had some test run and was waiting for results. We have found out since then, that he has melanoma cancer, and was told to get his house in order. Please pray for brother Ken! God has the last word! Prayer is so powerful! We just got back from Amarillo Winter Jam, and WOW, what fun it was! We got in some really great jamming and we got booked for the Andrews Festival this year, which is new for us.We are booking dates nearly every week, so check our schedule for the updates. It's going to be another busy year I believe. We then drove down to Quanah Sunday and played for the First Christian Church. They were a great group of people, that really blessed us! Can't wait to go back there. They want to get the Ministerial Allience together to have a big gospel show, so we are looking forward to that show! We are also on Facebook, if you do those social networking sites.  We have booked some new festivals and churches this year. We will be in Perrin this spring, Woodville, TX in March. We are going to Odessa Feb 12-13 then back here in Seymour to do a benefit for a Belize mission! We want to thank all our friends and fans for everything and we hope to see you this year somewhere down the road!

God is Good!

God Bless

Rest In Peace

Jesus is the Reason for the Season

Hello Everyone! Well we are in the Holiday Season and things are so busy for everyone, I'm sure. We have been really busy as well. Lets not forget that we are celebrating Jesus' birth and that while He hang on the cross, he had us on His mind. We played at the Country Church at Runaway Bay and had a really great time! It is a new church and if you need a home church and live close by, it may be the place for you. There are some great people there. We have a really great show coming up in Azle again on New Years Day. There will be four bands there, so there will be some really great music and a wide variety of styles there for sure. We will be there with The Herrins, Bluefield Express, and Honi Deaton and Dream! It will be a blast! When you eat all the black-eye peas you can, then grab your friends and come down to praise God for a brand new year! It starts at 5PM. We will also be in Amarillo for the jam. It starts January 19-22 this year. If you have never been there for the winter jam, you need to make the trip for some of the best picking in the south! It is nothing but jam sessions for at least 20 hours per day!! We want to wish everyone a very Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year! May God Bless you this year, and we hope to see you down the road this year!
God Bless,

Lillian, Texas

We played in Lillian, TX for the first time on May 21st. We were one of three bands. The other two bands being No Turning Back and Buddy & Tina Wright. After the shows, we enjoyed a fantastic jam with some great friends and musicians including: All Koscheski, Will THomasson, Kenny Williams, Cody (not sure his last name), and some members of No Turning Back. Above is a short slide of the evening. The audio is a song from the jam that night.

We are a Traditional Bluegrass Gospel band based out of the Seymour Texas area. We feel we are blessed to be able to use our talents that God had given us to spread his love through our music.
